Latest patch notes

Anyone read the latest patch notes?  Of interest to some is the new chant that pallies get which seems to allow them to pull mobs from range (at zero power cost) without actually doing damage to the mob.  Hey, it's better than no range at all I guess.

Secondly, and probably of greater impact (at least until the respec gets into the game) is that the smite spec DD's are being toned down.  The radius on the PBAoE DD spells is going up a little (BFD) though.

Hey, on the other hand, the true rejuv healers in all realms are getting a major boost by having their spec line heals (and all high level heals for that matter) ratcheted up with respect to power cost vs. damage points healed.  Should be great for the actual healers out there, and should probably even help some of the smiters who grudgingly toss a heal every so often.

earth wizzies also made out very well:
AoE stun
ground-targeted AoE DD
and a DoT line

sounds like i might have to change over to earth-spec on my wizzy if tey ever put in the respec

That AoE stun is gold in RvR. And the ground targetted AoE is pretty damn sweet, too -- keep defense anyone?

Darith was describing some possible uses for the pallie shout. If true, it might actually serve some purpose. He says it will interrupt speeders and spellcasters. If that's true it will give us a little more group utility. Pulling mobs was never really a problem for me, I just make someone else do it or I edge up to them with engage.
