Masta, that's not bugged....that's about the truth.  Most of those who are considered hard core RvRers...have left the server....RvR??  I don't know, I'm a crafter, I don't RvR much, except the occational romp in BG 3, and a failed attempt at the relic....

This is a little something I fed in as feedback, the main point of interest to me was that when i compared the realms to those who got /level 30 it was all the high population realms that got it. Since a stated reason for this was to address the problem of low population realms i was a little taken aback. It would seem the criteria was solely realm imbalance not server population imbalance. And even then as has been pointed out the formulea used (i think they tossed darts) was pretty suspect.

My feedback
Ive pasted the server numbers as of last night a bit further down the pages, the numbers go up and down but the order of big to small remains much the same. Below that I posted your list of /level 30 servers.

You might note that you have to climb 9 places from the least populous server before you reach one on your list. Virtually all the /level 30s were given to the upper half (more heavily populated servers) of the realms in terms of population.

This shows clearly shows the one thing you are not doing, is addressing low population servers because your encouraging people to go to the more heavily populated ones. Forgive me for boggling at the utter stupidity of that. Iseult contains the lowest population realm (Albion) with what is undoubtedly one of the worst records in RvR and you do nothing for them or any of the other truly low population servers??

I guess I got to ask was the person who drew up this list drunk? Because on any basis imaginable, be it realm population balance or server population balance it doesnt make sense. Yes, you have addressed some realm population imbalances on heavily populated servers, but then left other low populated servers where the imbalance is magnified by lack of people playing, totally in the lurch.

The general conclusion of most people is that you dont have a valid method for making  your selection and that is your reason for not revealing it. Umm you may not have twigged but no one believes the line taken by Sanya on the herald as to why your not revealing it.

I have a feeling the population boom on those servers will die down in a couple weeks. It's just like "Lurikeen Revolution" thing and when they opened the PvP and PvE servers for the first time.

Eventually people will get bored and return to their old chars. The small percentage that do stay will (at least mythic hopes it will) make the server a little more balanced.

And Umbos is back on Bors...YIPPIE!

Durandana

Sorry PD, We had to send Umbos back to Bors... They couldn't handle how well the Mids and hibs play here and cried too much. But at least you got a vacation from them :)

PerfectDrug

Aye, was nice while it lasted.  They are good players, don't get me wrong on that........

Bolldar Bloodaxe

hmm those server population figures are pretty typical tho of before the patch though, same realms had big pops before I think you will find. I know Iseult hasnt budged from where it was.

PerfectDrug

I can tell you that before patch Bors was either one up or one down from Iseult.  Now it has skyrocketed up there with numbers similar to MLF.  So Bors has gone up dramatically in population since 1.62

"hmm those server population figures are pretty typical tho of before the patch though, same realms had big pops before I think you will find"

Bors usually had the lowest pop of any normal server before the patch and it's now typically in the top 5 most nights. Morgan Le Fay was always either number 1 or 2 during all hours of the day because of the large asian population there; now its slipped to number 6.

I agree with you on iseult though, it's always been near the bottom and this patch didn't change anything.

Malison

Because if a realm didn't get 30s, no one in their right mind would reroll there.  Just find the most competitive "losing" realm (like Mid Galahad) and make a 30 there.

The only reason someone would roll here is to compete with or against Bedlam.

Durandana

It's easy to compete with the bedpans Mal, just pee on them :))

Bolldar Bloodaxe

I played Bors for quite a while and still got a few 30ish toons there and (pre patch ones) and dont remember it ever been all that low, i always thought it just in the lower half. Heh but who knows maybe my mind if going. I havent reallly seen any differene and i know while i have made some 30s elsewhere im not really temped to play them. Kind of feel like that would be giving in to the idiots who concocted such a biased system.

Gueuze

I'd like to get on board if Vengeance BG's occasionally on Bors.  I have a warden, VW, Druid, Champ, BM,Eld, Chanter, NS over there.  Eld, chanter, and NS are least preferred to play.
