New screenshots up

Over the past weekend I whipped up a little PHP screenshot viewer and uploaded the bulk of my collection. You can view my DAoC screenies here. And my Horizons screenies here. This includes stuff from way back when I first started playing in November of '01.

If you use the search utility you can get small thumbnails of each pic. Click on the help button to get a list of usable search terms.

I'm still only about a third of the way through the 1000+ screenshots I have, so I'll be adding more stuff over the next couple days.

Oh, and if anyone wants the source code or wants to upload some of their pics, lemme know and I can set you up.

Ah cool, I remember several of the older shots you have from posts that you made on the old tig boards.

I think one of those mithra screenshots is what enticed me to buy the game in the beginning of dec 01.  I blame Zut!

You know, going through all those old screenshots really made me miss those early days when I didn't know what the hell I was doing. I mean fighting yellows and blues with a full group in mithras, what was I thinking?

I'm so tempted to re-up my account now. What's the new FOTM alb class now? Friars?

all my horizons screenies got wiped. I have one of me being silly. The sky amazes me in this game, i could watch it all day. Notice the shadows cast onto the the mountains because of the clouds

Halfogre mercs are newest FoTM. Friars seem pretty popular. Minstrels are kinda FoTM believe it or not. Climbing walls is trendy. Um, let's see. Infils are kinda on their way out. The hib stealth zerg is so absurd there's very little point in getting your stealth on. Me, I like wizards. I was #12 in weekly RP a few months back. In the BG... yeah OK they're not FoTM by a long shot. But with the 25% casting speed gear...

The other realms bitch mostly about matter cabs with quickdraw nearsight/ae dot and sorc bolt range mezz. Oh and the old SoS/BoF combo of course.

OK. I got lost in all the letters. What is SoS and FoTM?

SoS is Speed of Sound and is the Minstrel's unique realm ability.

FotM is Flavor of the Month and is a derogatory term used to label people who create characters because they are popular for one reason or another and are easy to play. All assassins are labeled such. And so are paladins.

TIA stands for Thanks In Advance.
