Axelet: This (holds up barbie stagecoach) is my stagecoach. Do you know what pulls it?

Axe: (doubtfully) Horses?

Axelet: Invisible maggots.

Axe: Hmm.

Axelet: They don't go as fast as horses but you don't need to feed them anything, they eat all the dead bodies.

Axe: Very practical.

Axelet: These are special invisible maggots, they aren't slimy when you pet them, they're fluffy.

Axe: So you have some fluffy, invisible maggots?

Axelet: Big ones.

Axe: You know maggots turn into flies when they grow up?

Axelet: Eww! Not these maggots. They just grow up to be bigger maggots. But they need lots of dead bodies to eat. Can we have pizza for dinner?

Today we took all her barbies and took turns pushing them off the top of the stairs. You win if they tumble all the way to the bottom. You can sort of contort them so they're bending over backwards and make a little circle.

i am seriously gonna find a week this summer and drive down to north virginia. I'm gonna stay at axe's house for as long as possibly and leech all of axelet's ideas for my next movie/book
