I can't seem to speak in that channel. Only have list 1-10 to choose from. Although it says I'm in the veng channel.

the channel showed up as #2 for me, so to speak I just typed /2 and then whatever I wanted to say (which was typically "someone hold my hand, I'm a n00b").  for the record, I'm typing this from work... I stuck around the house a little bit this morning to try it out though, pretty cool!  I managed to build up a whopping ~10 silver that I can contribute towards the guild fees later if necessary.  Took part in a PQ (got some minor loot), did some quests, etc.  I think I'm level 3 or 4... yeah, that's right, fear me.  

Toon is a black orc named... wait for it... Rossork.  look me up this evening!

Ive got more than enough money to make the guild (think im at 1.5g or so) so we just need the people to be on.

less jobs, more WAR people...c'mon.

Look at LB with the mad cash making skillz! If the stars align and I can get some things squared away, I'll be home around 4:00 today and in game.

This site explains how to get to a warcamp, which has a flight path to the Inevitable City. Need 50 brass for the flight, which you should be able to get pretty fast.

hehe, the trick is to get one of the gathering skills when you get to chapter 2. I like scavenging because there seem to be more PQ's with humanoid mobs. Doing Scenarios with the repeatable rvr quests makes pretty good money as well.

They added a new gathering skill called magical salvaging or something. So you can take butchering (animals) salvaging (humanoids) and magical salvaging (no idea - maybe anything?)

You can actually run to the chapter two area right after you're born, train a gather skill, run back and salvage crap from level 1 kills. I got a blue pair of dice this morning in the five minutes I played. Just follow the roads.

I'm not exactly sure what salvaging does, but its listed as a gathering craft, so it must somehow get you tradeskill components. /shrug

I thought you used that against loot or some other objects.  I know I picked up some green loot from a mob and it said something about using the Salvaging skill against it to get something.

Anyone have any opinions regarding the various crafting skills?  Are they all worth the time/effort?

Hey Kirin, ya I gave the guys the server and guild board info. Spoke with them this morning to make sure they got it.

As for work Cao. I'm currently on parental leave. We just got #2 last week, a son, and my wife needs help, so I log in between her and the babies naps and distracting our daughter.
