From IGN boards:

"They could give Palies a rocket launcher, stealth, 5pp, and a donut, and it still wouldn't make up for 8 months of being a lawn gnome in RvR."

Kirin

LOL.. Omg i like that one! ;)

Rosslyn

Nerf Lawn Gnomes!

I also like this thread title on the Fighter boards:

"Paladin Epic Armor: Why didn't you just kick me in the nuts?"

I think giving Pallies a Donut would be going to far in class balancing... Just my opinion... I Mean can you imagine if Kirin had any MORE sugar in his diet?!?!?! GEESH! hehehehe

:P

The new realm skills might, just might, provide a better balance. My initial take on this is that there will be a certain subset of skills, per class, that are the most potent, and thus will become a standard part of a class build.

For example, paladins are going to get Purge (10 pts) and an Instant group heal (14 pts). I'm guessing most folks will take Purge first and the Insta second... I'm debating whether or not to do that myself.

Winners seem to include: skalds, runemasters, cabalists, all assassin classes (double perf for infils, double DoTs for nightshades, stealth run buff for SBs), friars, and thanes (AE stun field sounds very very powerful). A few classes, like Bards, got the shaft.

Shadra

Yeah I did like what I saw about the realm abilities. You always go into those worrying how they are gonna make your <insert class here> Weaker. I was happy that infiltrators are ok. :P Some of the other classes go some pretty cool abilities though.

Kirin

Bah i aint makin any remarks ti.l they finalize it.. this is going to take lots and lots of testing..

Wow, this is almost an appropriate thread ressurection.

Well I was right about certain skills being part of a standard build, but a little off on what was uber and what wasn't for the other classes.
