i just got banned from computer/internet use by my dearest mother...as well as grounded, and all around fux0red, but that doesnt really apply here.

anyways, depending on how stricktly this is inforced apon me i may or may not be able to be very much for a while

well, tonight mother dearest let me go on the comp for about an hour...think she might be letting go of this 'grounded' buisness....

anyway, being away from DAoC this long (hehe, what 2 days?) has givin me a HUGE amount of newfound admeration for Nari and the other people curently away...hats off to you

Just got in trouble again for something totally unrelated to the first thing...this time its bullsh1t and not at all my fault, but that obviously doesnt matter.

anywho, the no-computer thing is back in effect and it looks like its gunna be bad this time

I may be able to start getting back on the game if i can make my mother use/understand logic (highly unlikely) or by some act of god (far, far more likely to happen)

well, i have access to the boards and stuff (obviously, cuz im writing this...) while i waist my time at school

Sorry to hear that bro.  I know that my 13 yr old son has fits when he can't get on the computer.  He he, me with a 13 year old.  LOL.  Anyway, try cool reason, a few days AFTER your mom cools dow.  (Which can be years with some women, hehe).  Try to use the repentant approach and do some nice stuff without the hope of a reply in kind.  That always helps.  The long faces don't work, since she knows that you are suffering.  Reverse psychology my man.  Look as if you enjoy raking leaves or some such.  :-)

Amber wants me to tell everybody that 'he' (kinda) too is grounded from the computer during the week days, but can be on during the weekends...

amber is in trouble cuz 'he' did crappy in french class....and has parents more anal then mine

Hi there.  New member of the guild here...

I get grounded from the computer, too, and I'm 28 years old.  My wife gives me THAT look, and well...  I'd better get off the comp, or prepare to spend the night sleeping with my husky in the doghouse, lol.

I work Tech Support for an ISP, so I spend all day at work on the ocmp, then have to come home and straighten out issues with her comp, my comp, and any relatives that have a comp that needs fixing...  Heck, my family Tech Support is a full time job.  The wife, it seems, thinks I spend too much time with computers, lol.  She says I talk to the machines more than I talk to her.

Hrm...  Thinking about it, she may be right...

Of course, she plays DAoC too, so...  She even started an Alb on Iseult.  She joined another guild, though.  <shrug>  Ambulance and I both asked her about why she did that...  She just said "Because they asked." and shot me a dirty look as she was typing that, lol.

Ah well.  The joys of marriage, eh Nari?

lol i rember when i used to get grounded.. now i kinda wish when finals came around that soemone was there to ground me so i could actuaklly get a little bit of work done hehe.. ahh well each to his own ^^

Yeah, marriage is a JOYOUS thing, hehe.  Sometimes...  Well, I tried to set myself time limits and it worked...NOT! Hehe.  I just wish I could convince my wife to play DAoC.  Thinking of that, I would probably never get another home cooked meal if she got hooked...
