took me over an hour to install both patches!!
Bad enough I'm on dial-up, but the patch kept stopping and erroring out.  Probably at least half a dozen times.

Sigh.  Well, I've heard rumor that internet cable is available in my area now.  So the cable comp. is going to come 'survey' the place thursday.  wish me luck!!!

And they're down again. Though being able to select other people's toons sounds like a pretty funny bug.

I just finished the much anticipated 'puppy quest', man was that the dumbest thing ever. The dog only lasts about 10 minutes then just disappears for no reason, you can't summon him in RvR zones, and he doesn't actually do anything worthwhile - he just follows you around and emotes something every once in awhile.

Lamest quest reward ever.

i think it was just put in as "fluff", and to be fair its a level 16 or so quest, so its not gunna be anything amazing.

it would be cool if they aged and grew into usefull pets, but that wouldnt happen

Yeah, I noticed yesterday that alb is now being overrun by puppies.  There was actually a  line of lvl 50's waiting for the mob to spawn to do the quest!!!  LOL!

The puppy-chat in the dialog box does get a bit annoying at times though.  Especially when you're trying to read /gu /g and /bc at the same time.
