There was also an inf from KotRD that lead a few raids who had a really short temper. He used to always kick me out of the raid CG's because I once questioned his leadership when he decided it'd be better to have everyone chase down a single group of hibs running around forest sauvage than to try to take our keeps back during a relic raid.

I like the story about the time I recovered the power relic, and Zut talked me into handing it over to the mids clandestinely so the hibs wouldn't capture it.

I remember that!  The cg was wondering where it was..."Uh, dunno."  BG'd on them near Beno, IIRC, a few minutes before the timer expired.

My favorite DAOC memory is being one of 4 scouts and 2 infs that ninja'd a relic. It was back in old frontiers when we had fools bow and the old long-range volley.

We set up ground targets on the inner doors and volley / fools bowed them  until they fell. It took a few hours. Two infs went in and ran the relic out. One died half way, and the other got it all the way out.

They we just sautered it to our relic keep. Don't remember what relic it was. Must have been one of ours though. I died to one of those hib badger things on the way back (of course).

I remember my first RvR experience was long prior BGs, I was like lvl 12 and I actually mezzed a purple troll. at levl 50, I was lucky if my mezzes landed on like 2 out of a full group

I remember my first experience in RvR , one day I was playing around the plains killing lizards if I remember right (somewhere in the early 20s) and somebody came riding by on a horse yelling that we were under attack and to get to snowdonia. Well I was pretty low level and didn't know my way around very well but why not so I made my way up there and then all the way to the keep that was under attack and as I came up to the keep I didn't see anyone(aproached from the rear) so I come around the corner near the door and I am stunned to see about 30 Mids on the door (some were way higher level than me and this is the first time I ever saw a Mid ) I just stood there for about 30 seconds before one of the Mids saw me and came over and killed me (LOL I had no clue what RvR was all about). I'm pretty sure that was the first ever raid on the Isuelt server and I think I was the first casualty ever on Isuelt as well , that was kidshealer I was playing at the time.
