I'm actually taking a break from SWG to play the War3 expansion; not sure when (or if) I'll go back though. There's plenty of end-game stuff to do if you're really in to the whole SWG universe (like quests, battlegrounds, exploration, loot hunts, etc). But for me, I guess after awhile the novelty wore off and because I couldn't roll any alts, I got bored pretty quickly playing the same toon all the time.

There's some huge fundamental flaws in the game's design that would take me hours to write about, so I'll just say that 99% of the bad rumors you hear about SWG are true. The amount of bugs still in the game 3 months after release is pretty rediculous too.

Ohh and on Swg, i think ive found the point to the game thats making it interesting for me: rescources..
for many people, the game is simple, you kill shit, you get xp you get stronger, you buy composite armor.. then you sit on your ass till you get bored and respec..
Whats doing ti for me is the crafting system, and the rescource gathering system thats really complex (i hear the one in Horizons is gonna be similar). So far thats whats keeping me going

I started playing about 2 months before you did and I've already done the crafting thing. (I have a tailor/smuggler on Sunrunner) While it was fun for awhile, like everything else in this game, it got too repetitive after awhile.

Probably. I haven't had much luck finding a game to replace DAoC so I'll pretty much give anything a shot till I find something I really enjoy. So far, I'm looking forward to: Diablo 2 v1.10, Horizons, HL2, WoW, and eventually the SWG space expansion.
