Heh Axe, Animal Crossing and Legend Of Mana are Gamecube and PlayStation games, respectively.  They are my roommates, but they are actually quite fun.

Morrowind, from what I played of it, was fairly interesting, and has a lot of potential, but I got bored of getting my level/skill up by casting a 1 MP spell 1000 times over!

If you play Morrowind don't spoil yourself by reading fan sites/message boards. It's easy to make a powerful character very early in the game, just by playing it (no cheats or mods).

It's a beautiful game. The first time I saw pixel-shaded water effects, I just sat there and stared at it in awe. It's completely open-ended and there are tons of places to explore and a bazillion quests to do.

You don't really need to worry too much about your skill level, your character advances pretty quickly just playing the game normally. You can powerlevel like that if you want, but it isn't really necessary. I got my alchemy up to about 80 pretty early on, and I use it a lot for mana/health potions. I like being able to pick herbs along the road and turn them into something.

I just recently made my first "real" magic item, a levitation amulet with a grand soul gem. Cost me 20k but fortunately I had lots of spare souls lying around, that I used to buy back all my cash. Of course an hour later I killed some guy who dropped a levitation dagger, so now I fly around for any excuse at all.

Fun game, wish I had a slightly faster system. Graphics beautiful but bogs down on my gimpy 800Mhz box.

wow, i've been absent from daoc for a while. I'll really miss you reinn and mal. You guys will be the first to know when a <good> patch comes to albion that will hopefully lure you back towards the gimped game with an awesome guild.

1.53 actually seems to have taken strength away from Hibs and given to Albs.  It has also given strength to Mids though...still to be seen who gets the best benefit from the changes.

The Hibs seem to be beaten psychologically as well.  After the Saturday relic raid, they still had only taken back 5 of their 8 keeps by mid-afternoon Sunday.
