While spamming refresh to reload the Herald at 12:30 to see if they'd posted the signup form for the SI beta, I copied down some of the more interesting tips that can be found on the site banner:

Trolls can often be taught to count to twelve.

Today's Lurisoccer match will be held in Forest Sauvage. Bring your own Lurikeen.

Avalonians make good lookouts, but their shoulders make them difficult to shop for.

Highlanders always wear kilts. We're not sure why.

If a Healer tells you they could not get to you before you autoreleased, believe them.

Never underestimate Kobolds. They're sneaky.

Midgard's weather forecast: rain, with overcast skies followed by hammers of doom.

Hibernia's weather forecast: clear skies, sunny, with some magical storms in the Emain Macha area.

[Bah, it's an hour past when they said signup would begin, and still no application. Screw it, I've got errands to run.]

Besides having FAR to much time on your hands, you must have just missed the sign up. I just signed up. Besides, you missed the best tip, one you should pay attention to:
Be careful running down steep slopes - it can be dangerous for your health!

Sound familiar?

Ha ha, according to the time of Mythic's post, and the timestamp on my post, I posted my message 1 minute after registration began. Indecisive AND Impatient.

I registered - and one of the only reasons I did was because the new SI engine will have new textures for cliffs. So I'll know which slopes to avoid.
