if your audio card is all clicky and choppy for games all of a sudden (i have a good soundcard too) does it mean i have to clean it?

Axecleaver

Probably your speaker connection -- reseat the audio cable. Can also be driver related. But it cant hurt to run the card through the dishwasher once.

that would make sense because it started to happen when i rearranged my room and had to redo all my comp connections - but i just reset all the audio cables and its still doing it =[

You need to send your entire Computer System to me and just go buy a Xbox.

Amberryl

I dunno what it was, but i went to soundblaster.com and updated my drivers by a shitload, now it works like a charm.

btw, i have a friend who turned his Xbox into a computer

Caohmin

You mean it wasn't a computer already?

Dargoh

You know that you can run Linux on the Xbox? :)

Amberryl

download a patched savegame. It has code that executes and runs linux off a cd. Then install it to the hard drive and voila, you got yourself a computer
