Dodger?

By the time Korrie caps out in BG3, she'll have 6 RSPs left to spend, after having already acquired Longwind 1 and MCL.  I was thinking my next acquisition should be 5 points to get Aug Quick 2 and Dodger, since it would both help me continue levelling and be useful in RvR later on.  Is Dodger worthwhile for friars who get Evade 5?

Axecleaver

Yes, very very very useful.

Caohmin

I disagree. I think it's only very, very useful.

Rosslyn

You're such a naysayer, Caoh.  And a pessimist.  And a Pisser of Other People's Wheaties.

Caohmin

Are trolls and flames the only things you can contribute? If you don't have something worthwhile to say, why post anything? I guess the real question is: How much do you suck?

Rosslyn

That's a good question...

lol, Caoh, I'd like to add hypocrite to Ross's list...  ;)

And yes, dodger is important, even for infs.  They can easily cap out with evade at 50%, but there are other factors that can bring it below that cap.

It's more important with evade V though.

Sodom

Long Wind is a nice addition for the permasprint, but won't help much in PvE.

This was the RA setup that took me from 40 to 50, and the order in which I bought them. I had a little more RPs than normal, having come up before the BGs:

4 Aug Quick 2
4 Dodger 2
4 Aug Dex 2
4 Mastery of Pain 2
3 Mystic Crystal Lore 1

This will let you solo the orange-con crush sensitive mobs with zero downtime. Once you hit 50 and start RvRing more, I'd respec to get Purge asap. IMO, it'll keep you alive much longer in open-field combat than Dodger.

MASTERY OF WATER! ...the only way to go

Sodom

Someday, I'm going to convince Axe and Z to allow me to lock any posts deal with friar-related questions, seeing as I'm the only person qualified to answer.

Sodom > non-Friar Vengies...
...at least when it comes to friars.

Sodom > LB, Cao, and Ross...
...this statement needs no qualification. It's a Law, like unto the very principles which keep our universe in order.
