Anyone live in the Miami/Lauderdale area?

Topic says it all...  Looks like I'll be attending a class there sometime after the 4th of July.  If anyone lives around there and wants to get together to have a beer/hang out/ridicule Kirin for staying in BF, drop me a note.

a lot of the VU people are from florida... some from miami, some from orlando...

the fam has a house in boca that i go to sometimes in the cold NE winter, but looks like i wont be there for a while

I'm trying to work it out where I stay in a friend's condo in Ft. Lauderdale (supposedly some high-rise with a balcony the size of my house) for a long weekend, then do my class thing during the week.  I'm really looking forward to the low humidity.
