I finally got my old website back online: nerfzut.com. I thought I had lost those screenies forever

Turns out I was way over my bandwidth usage one month, like a year ago, so they froze the account. I thought that was weird since I didn't put any meta tags or keywords or anything to try to drive traffic there. I don't remember even submitting it to any search engines.

Anyway, I looked at the logs and I noticed that 99% of my hits were coming from Yahoo Image Search. Even stranger was the term that was being used to hit it: "nude wallpaper".

I tried it out and, sure enough, 2 of my screenshots were on the first page. My website also comes up on the first page when you search for "daoc screenshots". Again, I'm not sure why this is because I didn't do jack to make it appear on there.

I guess the biggest mystery is why the image search would eat up MY bandwidth. I thought they just used a server cache of the picture to display in the preview? And it's not like anyone looking for pr0n would click the links to get the full sized picture. Anyway, here's the offending images if you're curious:

yeah, it's a picture of me, minz and seb w/ seb's head in my ass. It was from the early days of emain when there were still quite a few solo peeps running around.

We managed to kill a warrior and a hunter before we got killed by the group in the screenshot. They were pretty cool though and didn't kill us after that; they'd just spam emotes whenever we passed them.
