First off, many thanks to Zaius and Axe for getting me access to the private forums.  

Hey everybody, hope that all are advancing quickly and having tons of fun.  Save me some of that good Theurg gear, I'll be back soon for it.  

Noreen - It wouldn't have done any good to get a laptop...I can't get steady access to the internet.  Most channels are blocked.  If you thought Mythic was bad about their firewall access you should try uncle sam.  I am soooo fiending for a good 14 hour lvling session.

The rate I'm going, you'll still be higher level than me by the time you return. Getting 45 is kicking my ass. The only time I gain xp is when Dargoh and Zaan are on, other times I either get bad groups and go negative, or try to solo and pathetically fail, causing one step forward one step back syndrome.

I spent 75g on con points last night from all my frustrating attempts at levelling.

Then, when we finally get a good group going, of course I have to log. Fortunately, the wife and little girl are going on vacation next week (without me) so I can spend all my free time levelling like a demon.

Speaking of levelling, Axe has left Rosslyn in the dust in our friendly little XP competition.  I'd like to think it's because I've been playing a twink, etc., etc., but it's probably more because I suck.

45 was a nightmare... I had to go to BARROWS to get it, ffs. Most of the people in the group were tools. Fortunately we had a good tank and cleric, so the others didn't really matter so much. It was a pretty nervous time on liches (I wanted to do wights, which were safer, those procs suck) and this one guy is trying to talk me into twisting heal, armor, damage,and heat resistance. I'm like 10% of 700 isn't going to help out all that much dude. Oh well... I made it. All you l33t 50s are orange to me now.

Then later that night I'm trying to catch up to our keep force deep in Jamitland. I'm with one other guy who gets taken down alone b/c he wandered off. So I'm all alone near the crossroads. I see a firbolg/lurikeen walking by so I head over to them. The Firbolg is a 46 druid, the other guy was a grey healer-type.

I whack on the orange and the grey starts healing her, so I switch to the grey, takes two shots (pallies dmg cap is teh suq) during which time the druid heals herself to full. Doh.

Then it's an epic battle of furious twisting and no endurance. I kill the orange with a sliver of health, salute my enemies, and head back for my fallen buddy.

Two steps later, Ixa backstabs me. Ah well... good times.

The guys I killed had the good grace to salute me in return when they got rezzed. Very nice of them.

LOL Axe, you have the roughest time lvling man.  I would say I feel sorry for you, but at least you get to play, grrrr...

Some funny shit with the rvr stuff man.  Next time take the BLUE pill.  Oh wait, different story. NM.  Anyway, grats on 45 and don't get too far past me so I'll have a lvling partner or two.  I hate doing barrows and being the b/t nuker/ buffer.  So repetetive with a group of, you said it, tools.  Oh well, I'll be back soon enough, maybe, probably mid June at the earliest, September at the latest.  ACK!!!! Must...play....DAOC...Must...

Rosslyn - Hey dude, what's going on?  Don't get too far ahead with pheuneral, I want to do some hunting with Bet and him.  Oh well, wishful thinking.  Take it easy.

I think I can make good levelling progress if I make it a policy to only xp when Zaan is around. She never lets me die. Reinn is a good duo partner, we had some fun times on the Tegs and hill scrags.

Since I got 45, I got my new healchant. I did a few solo runs on some yellows. Yellows at 44 were somewhat dangerous, I'd have about a 25% chance of dying. With adds around it always meant death if I got a yellow and blue.

With 45 and the healchant, I solo'd some yellows with full health, so I'm hoping I might be able to solo some trees near Excalibur or something whenever groupmates aren't available. Must run some more trials to see if in fact I'm viable for yellows again, or if it was just an aberration.
