Ok, here goes. I set up the GV server software, 216.200.67.179:3333, session vengeance. I'll test the client when I get home, but if anyone is able to check it out, let me know if it works. No password currently.

This http://www.gamevoice.com/Download/gamevoiceshare.asp?Page=148 is the free client I think. Nice thing about Roger Wilco is that there is a linux server, but I'll look into setting up a GV server this weekend.

I guess I'm a little confused. Is this just a software package that you buy and you have to have your own hardware (headphones/mic) or can you buy the full package with everything you need?

This may be a little beyond me; I may just stick to typing! =)

Ahhh.. Ok you assume correctly, i havent heard of that. well lets look into this.. hosting a chat server would porbably be alot easier if we plan to have more than a few ppl chatting

No No you silly goose.  I'm going to assume you don't have this since you didn't know what I was talking about.  

Microsoft also has a GV server that you can setup.   This is a chat room that isn't hosted per say just up and running all the time.  That's what I was tlking about.

HOsting a server isint a problem, its just a matter of 1 click.. Tydd, you know the drill, but for the others:
Everyone who is interested in doing voice chat plz post your Email addy used for MSN msger.. everyone must add eachother for the chat to work.

Do ya'll have  a GV server?  If so can you post the IP in the private forum?  Perhaps the first person to start a chat session can post the IP in the private forum?

Also what is your MSN account name if you use that?  Mine is illbyte@hotmail.com
