Vengeance

It was a hell of a battle. Major props to Gueuze for alerting the whole realm and allowing us to get a blockade up at m1. Without that warning, it would have been yet another relic ninja-ing.

I don't know how they got the relics through the milegate. We had about 80-100 people there holding off the mids. On IRC they were saying they mezzed the gate and just walked through, both times. That can't be true, because there were always people way in the back out of mezz range waiting for mids to come from behind. Though it sounds like crying, I got to believe it was some kind of lag or zone hole that let the relic carrier through. Any mid on our side of the gate didn't last more than 3 seconds, so I don't see how the relic could have made it through.

So I'll do a little research today to see if I can figure out how they got their relics through.

Doh is right.. Those middies are going to die!!!! they ruined my evening in all on 2 hours.... grrrrrrr.............

its 5:39 am and we just failed in our attempt to recover our relics.  about 100-150 of us ran to the middie relic keep and almost got the first door down...before we were overrun and wiped out.  Well now Midgard has all 6 relics.  I wonder what Nari will think of that hehe.  BTW great job everybody and a nice try.   The heads up from Gueuze allowed us the chance to defend m1 at all

LOL dude, that's some cool shit.  I can't wait to get back in the mix.  Oh well, 32 days in country and counting.  Man, this sucks...Did I mention that?  Anyway, I like the sound of the lvl 43 epic thingy.  Wonder what it is for Theurgs???  Good to hear that Vengeance is working together to get shit done.  I miss the togetherness stuff.  Oh well, I'll be back in the middle of it all in no time.  Hell, it'll seem like Christmas with all the new material I will get to experience when I get back, hehe.  Later folks.

You're still on the top ten RP list for Vengeance, and you're still higher level than me. Heh... Axe needs a damn xp group soon.

On the plus side, I got 1.3 BILLION xp for the new 43 epic quest. Big shout out to Tydd, Darith, Rosslyn, and Reinn for coming from all over to help me, Kisandria and Sirious complete the quest. They were very impressed by the Vengeance turnout.

We had a great Middie RvR war in the new dungeon last night. About 20-25 mids, about 40 albs, some high levels. The mids, all high level folks, raided our end of the dungeon. They were mezzimmune so we had to slug it out. I personally killed Sweat, Echoic, and two others (not solo, naturally, but I got some mad RPs for them f00s). It was really awesome seeing a horde of albs pouring down the ramps to engage them in the middle of all these grey/green mobs. Dungeon RvR is fun!

Still missin your presence around here, the game aint the same without you. The new dungeon is cool, yeah, lots of fun, the exp has been bumped up considerably too, and its very easy to find a gorup. Arggo is horrible there, and if you travel alone, chances are you'll die.. ive lost soo much exp down there, yet its been made up for by the grossly high exp form the mobs..

Hey folks!!! Hope all are having a great day xping and killing much middies.  I just wanted to shout out to the guild and let everyone know that I'm having a great time in exotic OMAN!!! That's right, beach front property right here...just no water, LOL.  Anyway, the powers that be have decided that I can reveal the name of the country, just not our specific location, etc. etc.  Anyway folks, that new dungeon sounds cool as hell.  I'll have to try it out when I get back.  It'll surely be old hat by then, but I'll still give it a go.  Maybe that way I won't get killed too much, especially with an experience guide.  Oh well, gotta check out the herald, so have fun folks, lvl like mad and KILL SOME MIDDIES FOR ME!!!

I think we're all feeling it. I think we all like one another's company and should focus on hanging out to accomplish some small goal instead of levelling. I was at a trees group the other day with some competent but incredibly boring people. That's not my idea of fun...

What's been fun for me since 40? Keep raids... Noreenland's arms buildup and defense was great... casual RvR where I get to be Darith's bodyguard (totally ineffective no doubt, but it lets me feel useful)... levelling with Tydd, Dargoh, Zaan, Reinn, and some others in Lyonesse... that was fun... duoing with Reinn on Tegs in Snowdonia... and, of course, the ever popular twink night.

There's lots of fun to be had out there. Soloing ain't it.

I'm in the same boat Axe.  I needed to take a break from it for a while so I reopened my AC account just so I can see some progress just from soloing.  

I'm seriously considering putting DAoC on hold for a while.  I had all last week without kids or family and I think I played past 8 pm once.   The rest of the time I spent surfing the TV stations.  That's unheard of from me.
