now, theoreticly, could'nt we just set up a treb and let a lowbee's launch huge rocks at spawns/large groups of red/purp mobs?

cuz i dont think treb damage is based on your level, so amagine how much xp you could get at the lower levels for taking out an entire camp of red mobs at the same time?
...first youd get the xp for killing like 20 reds, then a posible big camp bonus on all of them as well as a posible huge group bonus on all them.

id be willing to buy/help transport/build the treb (or trebs :) ) if somebody wants to try this with their alts...

Yeah, I've been wanting to try this for a while. People HAVE done it. The only issues are cartage and cost. But it would be fun as hell. Best spot for this is dunters for the under 35 crowd, I would say. We need a place where there's tons of mobs that we can take out with one shot and ideally respawn really fast.

We could make a full group of 8 level 20-35s, and have a few others standby to take out any mobs on the fringe of the Aoe.

let's do this soon, it sounds fun and I've been wanting to for a long time.

I don't think so, because the damage attenuates badly at the upper end. Plus the camps are so big that even should we kill some, we'd scratch a LOT on the fringes and bring a Noreen-style pygmy pull.

hehe, we could try it if we had enough of the really high lvl people to take out the adds...not sure if it'd be worth it though

Cool, we should be able to make all the treb pieces except for the weapons portion... we have all the tradeskills covered, me and Pesa with armor, any of our scouts with fletching, and lots of folks with enough tailoring. We'd just need to make a materials run for ammo and the weaponcrafter pieces.
