I've been alting a little bit on Hib Bors, and have been joined a couple of times by folks who shall remain nameless. In honor of Rush's drunken RvR, I have devised a drinking game for alting in Hib.
1) Whenever you hear someone cast the damage shield spell and think, "Crap, no one's watching the gatekeeper!" take one sip.
2) When a lurikeen unstealths and you are tempted to stun him (or whatever it is you do to keens), take one sip. If you actually hit a hotkey, take 2 sips. If the hotkey actually performs an action, take 3 sips.
3) If you try to attack the wolf that's chasing the Druid, take 2 sips.
4) If you try to port to Emain, drink the whole thing.
I'm mostly playing Inegaddeh, the light Eld. Can't wait to stun, mez and nearsight those stinking Albs--er, Mids.

Okay, I'll play along. I've created 2 (two!) Hibby akts on Bors: Mativoen, the Celt Hero and <some variation on the name Sodom> the Elf light-spec Mentalist. I'll wait to see who else tries out Hibbing (and what characters they play) before deciding which one I want to play.
When do we plan to have the first Hib night?

If I played, I'd play a bard. But I haven't gone over yet.
yeah, if i moved to this server, i'd consider a bard. Only thing really stopping me from starting there is that I have a 24 Bard on Kay (which doesnt seem like much play time in retrospect) and don't know if i could do the first 20 levels in hibernia again.
Bards are pretty neat. Their mezzing abiilities amazed me when i first started playing them, and they are still pretty cool. They have a nice line of songs, but the instrument switching is a real pain. Don't expect to gain much exp solo though..ever. at 24 i'm lucky to be able to solo blues, for a while i couldn't even do that.
Their armor is pretty light (studded leather) and they lack serious defensive abilities. And much like a cloth robed caster in Albion, they'll be the first to fall in every single RvR battle. Prepare to be nearsighted, stunned, and hit with 3 or 4 arrows before you can hit sprint.
another class i'd consider playing would be ranger, just because I really like the ranger idea, and have played them in past games. Their class spell line is pretty neat, and can solo just as well as a bard :) My only gripe is i wish they could spec in bows, blades and their spell line to max degree of skill. Guess that would make them too good though.
mentalists look cool, wardens are neat/useful but boring, tanks in hib are kinda lame compared to other realms (unless you like being a deer), and druids can solo oranges for 50 levels (first guy on Kay to 50 was a druid)
thats my class summary from a few months playing in Hib after release. Much of this may have changed.
I seem to be playing the Light Eld the most, he's lvl 13 now. The (brief) bit of time I've spent playing him has given me a bit of a refresher, so Iseult is more fun again. Plan succesful. Not that I'm giving up on the fella...stunning and nuking seems like fun for RvR as well.
Maybe I would roll a druid.
I always thought tinkering around with a Luerikeen Champion would be fun LOL :)
I LOVE lurikeen champions. I've seen two so far. I think it would be a blast as well. HARD, but a blast.

I don't have a problem with bringing in any KORD members. If anybody does PM me and we can discuss it.
Having said that, I don't know how much all of us frequent Bors. But it would be fun to try out, at least through the Battlegrounds levels.

Nah, most I've ever seen on at once was two, including me.
For some reason, "Vengeance of Iseult" sounds good to me. Look for me as Sodoromir in Mag Mell, or Sodomn in... whatever the hero starting town is ;)
