Which is the anti-monkey faction? Just curious. :)

So it can be assumed that *if* Vengeance were to experiment with Dragon Empires, we'd be Monkey empire-folk?

(Note that you can only play humans in DE, but empire affiliation does determine your style of dress, and the architecture of your home)

Curses, there goes my dream of playing Harvey Birdman, attorney at law.

But it does open up the possibility of playing Monty Fisk, aka Monkey Fist, master of monkey-style Kung Fu! Or it does if they plan on having some kind of unarmed combat specialization.

I watch too many cartoons.

Speaking of kung fu and drinking: I highly recommend The Drunken Master starring Jackie Chan. Very old Chinese Kung Fu movie with the Jackie Chan humor from the early seventies, I believe. Ok, no one was talking about drinking, but I was thinking about just now because it's Friday and I'm off work soon. :)

We now return to your regularly scheduled flame fest.

The Drunken Master pwns!

Also been watching a lot of Jet Li flicks lately, the subtitled ones with low budgets and lots of ass-whooping. Jet Li pwns j00.

I saw Jet Li's 'The One' last year in the theaters. Great blend of Kung Fu and Sci-fi. Good rental if you haven't seen it. I'll have to check out some more of Jet Li's stuff.

That's a more recent one though... there's some really good early Li flicks.

English Li flicks that pwned: The One, Kiss of the Dragon.

Some subtitled Chinese movies that were much better IMHO: The Adventure King, The Black Mask, Claws of Steel, Lord of the Wu-Tang, and the series of Martial Arts of the Shaolin.

Also really liking all of Kurozawa's work: Seven Samurai (very deep and involved, makes me want to learn the language), the Hidden Fortress.
