Title: n00b question thats bugging me
Post by: Masta on Jan 10, 2003, 08:45 PM
Are resists to spells based on your characters level OR the level of the spell? Im pretty sure i know the answer to this already but there are just those people out there who like to argue.

If I'm not mistaken, the answer to this is simply yes.

Resists are 100% determined off of the spell level.. Im so sure that its not of your characters level. Level of the spell vrs the level of the thing your trying to nuke..

Yes, it's spell level vs. the level of the player/mob you're casting on. I believe it's a bug and has had casters in an uproar since last summer. If it's not, it's an undocumented change.

It is definitely spell level. Arcon and some other TL's tested this very thoroughly recently.
