Title: Help pls
Post by: Axecleaver on Jan 17, 2003, 12:20 PM
I'm sitting here at work leeching tunes over the T1. And it suddenly occurred to me that I don't have any preference. Help, what should I listen to?

Thanks Ross!

I'm not slacking. I just fixed everything in a week instead of six months. Now they're trying to figure out wtf to do with me.

Check out Unwritten Law; they're from my hometown, Poway, in San Diego County.

I confess, I don't know what to make from all this mess.  Don't have much time for sympathy, but it never happened to me.

I'm into Audioslave and Disturbed now, but they're not conducive to work.

Try Cream or Hendrix.

Their hit from last year was 'Where Have You Been?'

Besides me, there's a lot of good stuff coming from Poway, like Blink182.

I've been into Blink 182 since their blue album... with the handicapped symbol on it... whatever that was called. Listen to them a lot. I didn't like their new album so much at first, then it grew on me. They're difficult to listen to live, mostly due to their immaturity, but good tunes.

Downloading vast amounts of Unwritten Law, Audioslave, and Disturbed now.

Audioslave pwns. You hear about what happened when they were practicing for a concert in cali? All the people ran around screaming thinking thier city was getting blown up.

Theres a new band that has one of the guys from Blink in it... I think they call the band Transplants and they have a really cool song named "Diamonds and Guns"

Audioslave - Thumbs up. IMO, "Cochise" is the weakest track on the album.

Ever since my music collection was swiped, I've been all over the road with the stuff I'm picking up.

Ours - Distorted Lullabies
Afghan Whigs - 1969
Failure - Fantastic Planet
Coldplay - picked up all their albums a bit ago, been listening to them constantly trying to come up with an opinion.
Soul Coughing - All awesome. Mike Doughty's solo stuff also whips the donkey's ass- he's got two albums out, "Skittish" and "Smofe & Smang"
Kompressor - 'nuff said. The Red Robot Theme Song is personal fave. Also be sure to pick up Rappers We Crush and I Want To Get With You. Sehr romantik.

I no know this Loco Loco of which you speak, but Los Amigos Invisibles kick ass - I Want to Disintigrate Your Girlfriend is fabu.
