Kind of a sobering thought that one day you're playing with your guildies and the next day they're gone. It really reinforces the idea to me that you have to live each moment as if it were your last. In each and every moment, do the right thing. The future is full of uncertainty; cherish each and every moment that you are alive and breathing. It makes me feel foolish about the petty squabbles I get in with people at work over stupid shit. If I died today, I wouldn't want to be remembered like that.
A friend of mine from work is really bummed out today because her younger brother shipped out to Iraq this morning. He was supposed to graduate from college this May and now all of that is on hold until this is over. The sad part is that he won't be coming back after the war is over. He's there for at least a year. Kinda puts everything into perspective, if you know what I mean.
Personally, I did not know Aazzudan, but from all the sentiments posted about him, he sounds like a great person who will be sorely missed by many. My heart goes out to his friends and family.
