So I took Amberryl to Pendragon to respec to some stuff I wanted to try out...
Since I've figured that body/matter sorcs can debuff themselves, I went to try it. It was a lot of fun in RvR I must say, but I still like my other sorc better. Sure, if you can get 2 dots on a caster and they dont have purge handy, then you've got him down for the count... and its funny having a DoTed (3x because of RA) dwarf try to chase you and grunt the whole way, but there were a lot of times I died when I wasted a quickcast and couldn't do shit for crowd control.
The lesson learned is that sorcs are meant for mezzes. (period)
I missed having a pet (even though you couldn't get a good pet in Caledonia), plus crowd control, plus crack!
Oh, btw... I played with a bunch of wizzies... They all suggest investing 14 pts into the volcanic pillar thing.
I told you to stick to mezzes!
VP is looking nice for my wizzy atm...ive read it does about 750 dmg in the center, NICE! hit VP in the middle of casting the pbae and you've got a crapload of frontload damage right there....thats probably going to be what i get after MoC, but ill test it on pendragon

I'd live so much longer if dots didn't break root or mez. I've actually gotten used to not rooting in battle, because most of my opponents will have a dot ticking away on them..easier to just run. If that weren't the case, my playstyle would be so different.
Matter/Spirit Cabby + Mind/Body Sorc is the taste :)
Yes, someone copy over a mostly body/mind sorc to pendragon, I copied my latest version of Malison over last night, and will spec him spirit. Then we shall own in the bgs :)
