It's funny how the chanter TL dosen't know the difference between Concentration and MoC.
It's gonna be funny to see what they do with Focus Shields and debuffs... They can't move the Focus Shield to Enchantments line since it'll give the pet perma red buffs + heal procs on their armor, they also can't move it to light, i mean, come on. Debuffs are up in the air, no one knows what's gonna happen with them until we know how mythic is changing the resist system.
But if you look through Mythic's answers... They do hint alot of things.

It's good to hear the PBAE + Heat debuffed baseline nuke madness is finally getting looked at. I can't believe mythic has let it slide for this long; totally inexcusable.
Also good to see an RA review is in the works. Midgard has the crappiest unique RAs that no one ever uses(there's only 1 group-based RA and it's broken) while Albion depends almost totally on theirs. Once these get balanced out, I think you could see some real Alb loving on the way.
I'm also happy to see the MoC + PBAE combo has a (slim) chance of being nerfed. I can't tell you the number of times my zerker died to this; the only real counter was to look for the animation then run like hell and pop IP. Then I had to hope the chanter was stupid enough to just stand there and continue spamming PBAE till MoC was down (a few of them even tried chasing me) but the smart ones would just heat debuff + nuke + nuke which there was nothing I could really do about.
All around, I'd say good changes to come (for everyone not playing a chanter).
Tyfud just became the new chanter TL...
Right as his BM dinged 50 :P
to me that doesnt mean chanters are fine, what it means is Mid tanks need to be toned down aswell
Chanters will always cap on every nuke and can do it every 1.5 seconds + QC out a PBAE if the tank actually makes it to them. This gives them an unfair advantage over every other caster in the game; I mean why should they be able to nuke as hard as a fire wizard + have PBAE + have a pet? That's like 3 different alb specs all rolled into 1.
No arguement with the savage comments though. Their self buffs need some major nerfage; H2H is already better than LA, why they need self buffs on top of that?
Yesterday playing persiphony i got hit for 490 twice in under a second by one caster. Now this happened so fast im unsure what he was other than being a little short middie guy. Persi is a 44 minstrel so not sure if that effected it. But this guys arms went up boom, and then immediately back up and boom i was dead. I thought maybe instas, but he didnt look like a skald and i didnt think a skald could hit that hard with instas anyway.
I really get the impression that there is a cheat program out there that allows people to cast quicker than the hard cap.
Someone above mentions enchanters casting at 1.5 seconds yet Mythic has consistently said that nothing will take you under the 2 second hard cap for casting and that includes RAs. Yet i seem to see examples of other realm casters doing it all the time. I know I cant on any of my casters. Does a cheat like that exist?
Find a caster who can nearsight, or cast debuffs.. They're baseline casting time is 2.0.. Give them red dex/qui and baseline dex than watch them cast... There is no 2.0 second hard cap. I know with red dex/qui, baseline dex, and moa3 i can cast nearsight on my brothers RM in about 1s.. Sometimes i can even cast it with air pets on me.. So i'm pretty sure theres no hard cap.
Pile on some MotA and your debuffuing nuke machine is ready for primetime.
Incidentally, clerics can cast their baby heal awful fast, and can beat the interrupts sometimes. I've been able to self-heal (granted only for 150 a pop) while under melee attack.
Edit - I read somewhere that every 10 points of dex (over 60) is a .1 second decrease in casting time? ...or maybe I'm thinking of quickness with weapon delay?
