i remember hearing some tape with a guy called Dr. Demento or something talking about dungeons and dragons, that was pretty funny....this remotely related ?

It was actually a pretty long computer animation (10 minutes?) that came with the Summoner video game. They used the soundtrack from that and used video from DAoC. It's pretty funny.

Yeah, it's the Dead Alewives sketch, first made famous on the old Dr. Demento radio show, which people have been recycling over and over with new graphics.

Of them all, the one Summoner Demo version is probably the funniest, due to the giant troll-thing with his head in the fridge the whole time.
