I loved Fallout... Lionheart looking good (with demo):

Says it went Gold on 7/16... hm... I'll be right back.

Downloaded it but haven't played it yet. One of the devs said it's really not representative of the whole game but you get a good idea how the combat is going to be (he said the demo was pretty combat-heavy but that the entire game was not).

Store didn't have it, I assume it's gold but not released yet. Demo impressed me. Ranged combat was pretty tough real-time though, clicky clicky clicky. Screw that. Magic looked pretty neat.

Fallout clone but combat is real-time only instead of giving you the option of turn-based (which I always used -- realtime the target selection was kind of difficult).

Nothing much to see, if you kill the ogre and get past that whole section you get to talk to the dude from the beginning, and the demo ends.

Played through it once as the 2hand sword dude; kinda expected it to be a little longer than it was. Weird how the only merchant is right at the beginning there, would have been nice to pick up some better weapons for fighting those ogres.

I specced mostly 2 hand and healing but it didn't seem to do anything. I dumped about 15 points into that first level heal spell and it never healed me for more than 4 - 7. Maybe I should have done the tribal magic one instead.

I was clicking that autosave button every 5 seconds practically. It's strange how randomly battles can go; like on my first fight against the ogre I got killed without even hurting him; but on like my 4 or 5th try I killed him with 1/2 my life bar left. I didn't do anything differently either, just got lucky with hits/misses I guess.

Edit - I went to check out the official game forums for more info but couldn't stand reading more than a couple posts. What's the deal with everyone calling each other "sir"? It also seems to be a requirement that posters must use at least 4 or 5 of those annoying smilies in every post. how the F do you apply your skill points?  I finally downloaded this thing, but I haven't been able to upgrade my skills for some reason.  I feel like a dumbass (nothing like inviting agreement).  I can only get to the wererats, and I kill them but end up dying to disease after the fight's done, lol.

The layout/graphics of this game remind me of dark alliance on xbox.  Which is basically a revamped baldur's gate with limited character options.

after trying numerous specs, i found making an archer works the best. dont be afraid to try them, scouts are only nerfed in DAoC. Put one of your special ability things that give you +20 to sneak but make people hate you. Doesnt matter how people like you because you can just kill them and you get more exp. the ogre were a sinch, just shoot and run (you can sneak by them if u need to.)

yea, i felt like a dumbass too, i finally figured it out though. next to the skill, theres a + sign, and you click on it to upgrade your skills. The three skills that your character is focused around will go up by 2 points for every point you spend it in. Also, you cant take away points once you spend them, so make sure you save before you spec just incase you change your mind.
