That is totally amazing. Jedis still suffer perma-death too, right? Man that is going to be one expensive linkdeath.
So how many Jedis are in the game now? And do they totally pwn?
They changed it recently so jedi just lose skills when they die. It takes upwards of 1000 hours playtime to unlock the FS slot so perma-dying seems kinda harsh.
From what I can remember back when I played, someone figured out that you had to get this special holocron, activate it, then it told you what skill you needed to max to continue on your "journey" to unlock the FS slot. People were getting pissed cause it was telling them stuff like Master Chef and Master Image Designer.

Working out firewall issues so it works right out of the ingame browser. Supposedly you can do something like ut2004://66.93.82.58 after ut2004.exe on the commandline or even from a browser window to connect, but I haven't tried it yet.
I'll have to load up daoc again, since The Dork Formerly Known as Sodom resurrected my account.
the maps with the power nodes are wicked fun, but have you guys tried the team deathmatch ones? those require wicked skillz
