take 1 power font
stack 2 to 4+ PBAE groups on the font (yes, full groups). dont forget the pac healer's AE stun, so they cant hit back/interupt your friendly SM (who also has a pet which intercepts for him)
insert a HUGE camp of instantly-poping, easy to kill mobs (redcaps as they're called)
get 4 to 8+ body pullers or AE pullers (thanes, shammy, ect)
result: leterally non-stop xp, often upwards of a kill/second - for as long as you have a puller. the power font keeps there from being any downtime, healers provide conc-based crack to help too. the mobs have great group bonuses which make up for the lack of camp bonus. my healer went from havng no xp in 39 to 41.5 in about an hour and a half...that works out to a bub about every 3.5 minutes.
my question is where are Alb's redcap camps?? mid is seriously easy mode (pve at least, cant speak for rvr yet). pbae groups are a brease with above camp and AE stun. shammy bots are uber for tanks - end buff and in-combat heals with friggs that dont steal xp. the perfect tank group can have a shammy, an aug healer, and 5 tanks swinging 2h's a near cap speed with celerity/haste.
i want ALBcaps!

p.s. 41 to 44.5 in ~3 hours hours, +1plat and 27(!) salvage items
nerf redcaps!
It's almost like making a matter sorc. There's some good spells in there but is it worth giving up everything else you could get by speccing in mind or body?
i am definetly giving up a lot in the pac line, no doubt, but i just consider myself a different kind of healer. i look at my role as a main healer firstly, and DPS buffer secondly. with a second healer in the group, odds are they will be pac, they could do the CC thing and i'll do the healing/interupt with AE amnesia thing. and if i find i dont like it i can always respec :)
gunna be either:
40 mend, 36 aug, 4 pac
for the 100% rez
or
39 mend, 37 aug, 4 pac
for the last yellow (16%) resist buff - spirit
im not sure which is better, but im leaning towards the first
By the way, I just got finished single handedly saving bold and no one was on to help me. It took like 45 mins, but I killed all 8 of them on the inner door. I got lucky they had no rams and their only tank was a blue con skald bot.
I wasn't impressed compared to what I can do and have done in AC...

Well like I said, it took me 45 mins so it was more about wearing them down than anything else. I used my ML2 PN to keep track of which tower door the SB was at and then I'd port out the other one and nuke someone till I started taking damage, then port back inside. At one point they had an SM covering the 2nd tower door so I used my ML3 power bomb on him then ported out when he was OOP and killed him. About half way through I must have killed their only rezzer because I noticed there was fewer and fewer of them. At the end, there was just a thane and a skald left. They must have both been afk cause neither one moved when I started nuking them.
Axe's wizard, Gueuze's level 41 friar and I came back about an hour later and fought them in the room above the lord in the tower. I was able to nuke down the BD right away and G killed their shammy. Axe had like every tank on him and, for whatever reason, they all stopped attacking him and switched to me when axe was at a sliver of health. So I just ran them into axe's PBAE and by the time one of them realized he should kill the wizard, axe had already dropped 3 of them.
They came back one more time with a healer, but we had the doors repaired and G was on his mini. After they got on the inner tower door, they didn't last longer than a minute before they were all dead.
I waited about 20 mins afterwards to see if they came back but they didn't. That group probably wasted about 3 hours trying to take an unclaimed keep, I almost feel bad for them.
