Sweet, maybe now I can save the single target insta for myself.
pfft, i do that already ;)
I just see this as fewer free RP's from rezzing Zutt, hehehe. It's a good idea, IMHO. This coupled with the thing where you'll still get some RP's while dead should help sorcs out a little bit.
I thought the focus based thing was kind of stupid anyway; you couldn't do anything while it was up so you were effectively dead anyway. Great change that'll help against the assist train and will make sorcs even more badass in 1v1.
Doesn't help me much though, I'm still a good 200k away from RR5.
Well we should be able to get that tonight, np.
MOC3 lifetap in conjunction with personal BoF is going to be the new thing everybody in mid/hib will point to to complain about. It's only 15 seconds but you can pack a lot of ownage into 15 seconds.
hehe, yeah. you figure he's out of power by then anyway, right?
Until I see bards and healers running around in cloth armor they can go screw themselves.
So with the MoM nerf I'm probably gonna redo my template a little bit. I don't see a 20% damage bonus as being worth 34 points now. Any suggestions?
Yeah, I dunno wtf you're supposed to buy now. I still say you should get mastery of focus 2 for the uber mezz. But not sure what beyond that. I am sure a points-to-efficacy graph will be up on VN before long.
whoa, nice use of efficacy!!

Ross is easily impressed with your sublime propensity for big word stuff.
I thought he just misspelled efficiency
lol. Whenever I need a laugh at work I say "synergy." They love that, gets em every time.
I was in a meeting today when one of our VPs used the word "systematize." I hate it when people verbify nounage.
You mean like "verbify"?
No.
'Quantify' is the big one around here
I blame it all on "utilize." I defy you to give me an example where the word "utilize" is more appropriate than the word "use."
Utilize can also mean "to make profitable use of; to use fully." So, for example, say I bought my Mom a new top of the line PC and she only uses it for email.
"My mother hasn't been able to utilize her new computer."
This isn't quite the same as "to use her new computer" because she can USE it, but she can't obtain FULL USE of it.
Yeah, but nobody uses "utilize" that way. You hear "fully utilize," which I believe originated with the Department of Redundancy Department.
Isn't that where you work Sod?
All I know is that I see a lot of the word "utilize" when writing performance reports. Something about that word just makes my senior management all quivery inside...
There's definitely a hierarchy of management doublespeak lingo.
Bottom-rung managers get to use words like utilize
Middle management gets to use "quantify" and "metric"
Only the top folks get to use the cool phrases like "paradigm shift."
I was actually suprised when one of the officers had me retype an award for one of my folks. He wanted the word 'used' instead of 'utilize' in the award citation. Totally shocked me.
