We played EQ for 3 years and we had a guild there too but let me tell you Vengeance is not a guild is family.
You guys are responsible for the best times we had in DAoC the last 3 years and the game will never be the same with out you.

Let is know what you think of the Vampire game, im assuming your talking about Bloodlines and my son is interested in that game. He loved the previous one. He got half life 2 which is very good though the EULA is draconian to say the least like so many other games these days. They really ought to shoot the lawyers who draft these things in an attempt to remove all rights from players and abrogate any responsibilty for their product. One of the best games ive played lately is Rome Total war which while far from historical is fun. Actavisions customer support is very ordinary as is there production of patches for games like the Total War series.
Played Vampire: Bloodlines for about an hour today. Never played the first one, so I'm not sure how well it compares. How old is your son? There seem to be a great deal of mature themes in the game (all the female characters' clothes are pretty revealing, the in-game dialogue is rife with 4-letter words, and then there's the whole "drinking peoples' blood to live" thing).
As far as gameplay... it didn't wow me. It has a lot of nice touches and ideas, but it doesn't come off as "slick" as HL2. The unique elements often seem "bolted on," as opposed to seamlessly integrated.
I got Bloodlines and Medal of Honor Pacific Assault as gifts, but I haven't installed them yet. I'll have to play them later on. Maybe if WoW's billing is screwed for me too, I'll have time later :)

cs source just isn't the same as old CS, but its still great. Its like the difference between Halo and Halo 2. I managed to find a copy of CS Beta when it first came out - man, its come a long way. HL 2 is fucking awesome. I picked up a copy of WoW a while ago. I'll play my free month when i get back to school during my awesome 4-day weekends :cool:

Nygel and I got Catacombs for Christmas, he rolled a Vamp and I rolled a Bain on MLF if anyone has toons over there. Just lvl 10 right now, can't /20 the new cat classes.....
