As much as I'd like to see NE lose and have all this dynasty crap go away, I just can't root for the eagles. I hope TO breaks his other leg on the first play of the game.

I don't think it's even going to be a good game. The Pittsburgh game was the pinnacle of the season for me. Super Bowl should be a good excuse to watch new commercials though.

I think it'll be a good game if Sheppard and Dawkins each end up with at least one pick.

Also, if anyone breaks a leg, I hope it's Dillon.  I just don't like how the biggest whiner in the league gets traded to a team that gives him a free ride to the super bowl.  I wish the Steelers had traded Bettis to the Pats, that would have been cool.

I just hope we get to see someone's boob again.

I vote TO for broken leg. I heard his doctor hasn't cleared him yet.

Don't diss on Dillon, who wants to spend their career in Cinci for god's sake. Although I grant you Bettis would have been a better choice, they never would have gotten the same kinda deal. I think they got Dillon for $13 worth of beads or something.

Dillion's already 30. For RBs, that's about the end of your 1000+ yards per season career. He gave 7 seasons, and the prime of his career, to the worst franchise in the NFL (next to maybe the Browns). I'd be kinda impatient too.

in all honesty, the AFC championship was the SuperBowl- kinda like the boston vs. yankees game before the world series

Since NE won last year, and I doubt I would have bet against my team, I think you must have me confused with someone else. Or did they not cover the spread or something?

You leave the Bus alone.  He rocks and i'm hoping he doesn't decide to retire.  I was a bit disappointed in the Steelers/Pat game.  Third quarter was starting to look real good.  At least they beat them once.  Would be great to get one more game of Steelers-vs-Pats.  We could break the tie.

I thought the playoffs (with the exception of the wild card) totally sucked this year. Lots of blowouts and zero upsets. Seeing Peyton Manning meltdown yet again was kinda fun though. Maybe if he wasn't talking up half that team's salary cap by himself they could afford a defense.

Come on, the pats/steelers game was everything you could ever hope for in a football game. Well, except the exciting finish I guess. But their beat up secondary played the rookie like a two dollar fiddle at Sunday Mass.

yeah, rothesburger was really looking like the rookie he is the last two games.  sigh.  i guess we just look for improvement next year.  although for a rookie, he didn't do too bad.  how many other rookie qb's take their team to the playoffs their first season?

Yeah, you bet that Carolina wouldnt score as much on offense as the pats would on defense.  With compounding interest, you owe me.........

the game was over when rodney harrison returned an interception for a TD at the end of the first half. I could've taken a nap in the second half and not missed anything.

of course this is from an outsiders viewpoint; I guess if it had been my team I would have probably enjoyed it more. But as it is, the new jersey con-man is destroying my team so I doubt I'll be seeing a cowboy's playoff game for at least another 5 years.
