I'm going to be changing jobs soon and when i have tyhe funds ill prolly fire up the ol' DAoC accounts

Sidd i promoted Shanghi to decorated veteran so he can invite in the guild and i am planing to promote you too as soon i see you in game.
I think is time to start getting some people in Vegie land in DAoC.
Also i am talking with Divine Unity allianse about joining them and looks like we are getting accepted from all the guilds in it right now so some time next week we should be joining them.
I talked with Luvly from UAA but i got the feeling that they dont think we are UBER enough for them so screw them.
Right now every time i am in RvR i am having a blast and i always manage to get the Albs that are in chat to get together and work as a team for some reason that still i dont get they listening to me :)
So when we get in the DU allianse we should be back in the loop and start getting Vengeance in the place that deserves in Iseult.
Like i say i am planing to promote you so if you have any friends that they are not in any guild and you think they fit Vengeanse feel free to invite them.
Lets work on making Vengeance big again.
PS: oh yeah DING RR5 finaly.....i am not a newb any more....no mater what Tydd say :))
PS2: oh yeah if you dont think is a good idea joining the DU allianse feel free to tell me i am open to other ideas.

uh huh... we're talking about the same Luvly that routinely got 50 albs killed by 1 FG of hibs?

Thank god the Albs are getting smarter and they are willing to work as a team this days as long there is some one to get them in line :)
Dargoh you and yours should join us in in World Of Warcraft. It's a blast. Forget this DAoC crap.
Most of us are in the 40s and 50s and will be PvPing soon. Also, battlegrounds are going in soon and I don't think I will decide on coming back to DAoC until I check out those 2 things.
im not comming back until they find a way to get rid of Buffbots.. before those were popular i was very competitive with my Inf and was regularly taking down almost everyone i fought. Now i cant even kill an rr1 lurikeen Nightshade cause hes got a bot :(
Of course buffbots = cash for Mythic
I still think about it from time to time, but for now I think I am happy where I am. Sometimes I miss DAOC, but when I think about all the work required to get competitive again, I get discouraged.
The balance issues seem worse than ever with warlock groups instakilling stuff with impunity.
Don't go back in UAA, they are poison.
I totall agree w/ Zutroy's comments. Wow. Isn't Luvly the one that got a large Alb group lost when we were defending Renaris in the courtyard with like half a group (multiple in-fight rezzes on both sides, awesome fight), and they got there late because they got lost? I seem to remember some excuse like "it was raining", and people jumping to Luvly's defense saying "we just do what we're told", but they had no response to "did Luvly tell you to get lost while traveling due fkn north of Sauvage?"
LOL, not uber enough. Nice. That just proves that if you give a monkey enough artifacts and ML abilities, they may in fact have some sort of impact on RvR.
But the important question is. Is the monkey purple?
I think that was the angriest I've ever seen you guys before.
Let's also not forget about the tower camping fiasco where 1 FG of hibs (giaco's group IIRC) hid inside that tower by sauvage and, instead of just running past them, one of the leaders of UAA (was an inf, don't remember his name) told everyone to charge the tower. At least 4 fg's of albs got PBAE killed within like 5 seconds. Then they all ran back like lemmings and did it all over again. It went on for like 3 hours, it was insane. I ended up getting kicked out of the CG when I suggested we just ignore them and work on retaking our keeps.
I remember that Renaris defense. We definitely held our own under the circumstances.
What pissed me off so much was that we played damn near perfectly in that situation, we were outnumbered and outmatched, and all we needed was a bunch of n00bs to just run straight north and we would have won. Looking back on it now I have a much fonder after-memory of it than I had then.
Know what other memory I just had? That time I ended up with the relic on my paladin, the hibs had the power relic all sewed up, and I had got the relic safe back to our border keep.
I'm discussing it with Zut and he says hey, it'll just time out, port back to the keep, and the hibs will have our relic. Let's go give it to the mids because I don't want the hibs with another power relic.
So that's what we did. I forget who else was in the group with me and Zut, but I remember saying "This story NEVER gets out, no matter what -- if albs heard I turned over our relic to the mids I would not be able to play here anymore, because they would not understand."
But that was absolutely the right decision, and we executed it flawlessly. Took the idiot mids a good minute to realize the relic was there and pick the damn thing up, but it worked.
Yeah, I remember that raid. I was part of the group also. I think it was with my merc. Took the mids a good 1-2 minutes to figure out they were supposed to hit us. If we had tried to take them out, I think we could have succeeded.
OMG that was soo funny :)
I was there that day with you Axe i remember beckoning the mids and they just standing there looking at as like we were alliens or something, for a minute i thught that they will turn around and run because they recognized who the paladin in the Orange armor is LOL :)
Ahhh the good old days :)
