Was laid off, got a job lead from a friend, startup in China, my response was "why not." That's the short version, but it really doesn't leave out many details. A big added bonus is that Chinese women dig me.

Nope, had never been to China before this gig.
I'm in a town called Haining, about 2 hours WSW of Shanghai, between Shanghai and a town called Hangzhou.
Life is interesting. It's a small town (by Chinese standards), so I don't get much western goodness here. Although I did find a guy who said he knew where the best pizza in Shanghai is, so I need to head that way soon and get my fix.

Hey Kids. What server are you on in EQ2? A few of us are on Oasis on the good side.
Back when I played I was on Innothule and had toons on both evil and good , 55 warden , 23 wizard , 37 coercer , and a few others around lvl 20 , stayed till the mass exodus which left me with no more people to group most of the time so I left as well. Had prismatics done and all the raids for the most part so nothing new to see really . Did poets pallace before the nerf from master1 to adept1 as the reward , finished carpet quest before they made it easier, but didn't like the "balancing" and felt like sony didn't care anymore about the players so I left when all my friends left. Not playing anything right now just having fun with other things for now. Hoping Vanguard won't be a one year and done game like EQ2 was.
Vanguard seems like another pve game for the 50-player raid crowd. Am I wrong? No pvp there either.
so far it is designed as PvE although there is talk of Some form of PvP also in later editions. Not sure how they will implement it or what most likely will be arena type duels and group fights.
