I think the biggest change that I am very excited for is the XP boost to the quests. Also the Veteran Rewards and getting the Lotus Amulets are very enticing. I am still waiting for an opacity option on the chat window.

I will be back playing next week so I will have some catching up to do!

But dammit - this is how the bots win! It's already tough enough to extract aether before I end up a pancake on the ground, now this??

see, I thought that was specifically put in to fight bots... they won't be able to do the cleansing word thing.

but yeah, I can see myself screwing this up and being out of aether-collecting commission for a while.

I haven't noticed the Poison Gas thing happening and did a little gathering, so maybe they found the right balance. As long as it happens fairly rarely it should confuse the bots and still not hassle real players too badly. So, I withdraw my angsty uninformed pre-patch concerns.
