I can just picture her saying that. Just think, later in life that whole thing will be summed up with a nice quick "F. U., Dad!"

I'm available to attend.
im not, wouldnt be worth all the sexual favors Ross would demand.
Im going to watch the Habs tomorrow night :D
It was fun, but $350 fun? Probably not. Ross did you have to pay scalper prices for those or did you get them through some sort of stadium hookup?
PS Axelet is 8 now. She's been drawing me "my daddy is going to hell" pictures since about age 4.

It burns you because you are wicked.
I was actually pretty lucky. At first I tried to get 4 tickets, thinking that at the very worst I could use two and then the sale of the remaining ones would more than pay for my day at the ballpark. They didn't have 4 together, so I immediately tried for two, and by then those were all gone as well. I was pretty bummed and was just going to close the browser and debate whether or not to pay a scalper, but then someone called me. Since I was trapped at my desk, I figured WTF and I tried one more time. Evidently someone's credit card got declined or they failed to complete the transaction in two minutes or whatever, and those tickets were thrown back into the pool right as I hit it. The end result is I paid face value (plus the usual obscene tickmaster convenience, order processing, and anal rape fees). I think the actual price was $190 each, but I think my final bill is closer to $450 for the pair. They really aren't too bad, all things considered. They're back a little bit in the upper deck, but they're right behind the Tigers' dugout, so it'll be a good view. The great thing is that the game doesn't start until 7:30pm on Saturday, which means my day should go something like this:
10am: pull into the parking garage for one of the casinos downtown
2pm: cash in my massive winnings, go someplace to have lunch and watch part of the Michigan/Iowa football game
3pm: head to one of the 4 zillion bars within walking distance of the ballpark and drink enough so that I won't even be tempted to buy a $9 beer.
7pm: find my seat, grab a couple of hot dogs
7:15pm stand in a really long line for a urinal
7:29pm race back to my seat, $9 beer in hand, hoping I don't miss the first pitch.
Man i just got back from the 5-4 Habs - Flames goalfest.. always fun when 9 goals are scored in 2 periods.. we really sucked but hey, at least montreal won!
