Speed of Sounds confers total immunity to stun, mezz, root, disease for 30s. Cast it, gank the healers, mezz the tanks. One man army. Sweet!

I saw on the Friday grab bag that Pally's heal chant does and will heal mezz too!!
If they ever put the heal back in. I don't think that's very likely. Everything they yank and say "We're going to reconsider this" means "We're cancelling this." I don't remember anything that got yanked that made it in at a later date.
Thats a fact axe , as for me I am thinking about quiting the game because we cannot compete with the power they gave the mids. With the most powerful spells in the game and no way for us to even the playing field I find it pointless to even try unless we out number them 30 to 1 we lose everytime it seems like there is no 1vs1 because you will get paralized and then they can take their sweet time killing you without styles because they have 52 seconds to do it before you can move again. I am so tired of that BS it isnt funny. It has completly taken any fun out of the game as far as RvR is concerned.
Yeah, all a mid team needs is a single healer and they're already 95% of the way to winning any encounter not involving a sorcerer (even then, not likely) or a matter cab (how many of those you see?).
It's a bummer. But it's got to change eventually, this mezz crap is ridiculous, and everybody's bitching about it.

I got my first use of this last night, Mids were attacking Renaris, and noticed that Doec, Reinn, and I were watching them...SHAZAM! Speed of sound on, run like heck. Four instas shrugged off, very very amusing. I could hear them cursing in a language I couldn't understand. Of course, it only lasts 30 seconds, and stupid, excited me ran south, instead of east towards Excalibur, got caught by Mr. Red Skald eventually, and paid dearly...but those were 30 fun seconds.
I can't wait to put this one to more use.
That's so damn cool. Can you scatter after firing speed of sound? Like everyone gets 30s whether you're near or not?
The realm skills take some getting used to. It took me about 5 or 6 encounters to get my insta timing down. Like I don't have enough things to worry about already... twisting 4 songs, stick, bone bruiser, weapon switching for bladeturners, and now an instaheal... lol. But practicing is fun.
Hmm, never thought about the scattering possibility, people I'm grouped with will have to verify. I'm used to 'circling' near folks to get them to pick up speed song anyway, since they don't always immediately realize they have access to speed.
It's great for bailing on bad tanglers pulls too...not that I would ever have a bad tangler pull.

Just a little bump: if it weren't for Gueuze and his Speed of Sounds realm ability, we may not have the spear relic safe at Excalibur. After being mezzed, G was freed, fired the SoS and broke my mezz, and we literally flew halfway to the milegate.
Gueuze got ganked later and I jumped into Kronick's group. I was hoping to have the two relic in separate groups to hedge our bets. But you know what they say about planning going out the window when the shooting starts. Luckily we made it back without incident. Crossing the road with 7 people in our group was the scariest part... I just KNEW we were gonna get spotted... but it didn't happen.
